I hope your winter holidays are joyous, and that you get some time with the people you love. Rather they are related to you or not.
If you don’t mind sharing, what do you celebrate? I don’t really have a religion personally, and celebrate a little bit of Christmas because it is what I was raised with. Maybe not the best reason, but I’ve only been to one Hanuka party in my life, and I know even less about the others such as Kwanzaa and Yule. Though to some degree, celebrate is a strong word? Mostly my boyfriend and I just get together with some of his family for food. We watch his young niece unwrap some gifts. We don’t do that much.
Looking forward, I hope you have a happy new year. What’s your new year’s tradition? Mine is usually watching the ball drop either online or on TV.
I can honestly say 2022 was not what I expected, and who knows what is in store for 2023. Years can both seem to fly by in the blink of an eye and yet be so long that they defy description.
Anthology: The Test of Life
Unfortunately, the flash fiction anthology isn’t ready just yet. Fact-checking one story and revising another took longer than I expected. Plus Amazon takes a few days to review things when they’re submitted. But the good news is it will be ready next week!
